Unless there is a late change, the referee for Saturday`s game against Huddersfield is Simon Hooper.

Unless there is a late change, the referee for Saturday`s game against Huddersfield is Simon Hooper.

The last time Hooper took charge of a Latics game was last season on 6th March when Oldham drew 1-1 with Exeter City at St James Park. Six players saw yellow that afternoon, four of them were Oldham players.

So far this season Hooper has taken charge of seven games, in that time he has shown 21 yellow cards and one red. His highest count so far in one game is seven yellows shown in the game between Swansea and QPR.

Assisting Hooper this weekend will be Colin Harwood and Marc Perry while the fourth official will be Chris Kavanagh.

  • Didnt seem to give your guys any for taking ours out late, or even free-kicks for that matter. We should have had a penalty although looking at the rest of our ‘performance’ we’d have probably missed the stand with it.
