Chelsea To Bid for Richards In Jan?

The Oldham Evening Chronicle has today stated that Chelsea are thought to be preparing a bid for Micah Richards in the January transfer window.

Chelsea, who are without a regular right back, are thought to be preparing a bid of around £15 million, which is handy as Stuart Pearce has since gone on record to say it would take a ‘ridiculously large offer’ to prize Richards away from City.

If true, Latics would receive 20 percent of that figure which would be around 3 million pounds.
