It took a late goal for us to fall behind, but an even later one secured Oldham a point on Tuesday night and stretched our unbeaten run.

Oldham saw a lead overturned before we battled back to earn a point at Swindon Town following a 2-2 draw at the County Ground.

Brad Smith missed a great chance to give Swindon an early chance when he pulled an effort wide, with that miss proving costly.

The game burst into life around the midway point when James Dayton (23) took on Joseph Mills’ pass before powering home into the top right hand corner from 30-yards to put us ahead.

A lead didn’t last long though with Jonathan Obika (27) swiftly drawing Swindon level as he scrambled home, adding to his debut double from the weekend, to make it one-one at half time.

Nathan Byrne, who had caused us problems all night, look as though he had created the winner for Andy Williams (80) who fired into the top corner with just 10-minutes to play.

Like Swindon in the first half though Oldham weren’t behind for long with Amari Morgan-Smith (84), also like the scorers of Swindon’s second had come of the bench, poked home from close range to ensure we went home with a point from this two-two draw.
