Record Sponsorship To Boost Plans

Oldham Athletic today announced a record breaking �250,000 sponsorship deal with Hillstone Developments.

Not only are the club are happy, but i could now imagine new Oldham manager John Sheridan is also relishing the news!

John Sheridan and newly appointed assistant Tommy Wright have been working hard to look for new players to strengthen the team, and the deal will surely be a lift to them.

The Latics manager can expect a boost to the funds after the deal, which could involve the long awaited purchase of Luke Beckett.

Oldham already have a £85,000 fee agreed with Sheffield United (which was agreed at the beginning of his loan), and with Latics having the first option over the hitman, this sponsorship could well be the icing on the cake in securing his signature.

Latics Marketing director Sean Jarvis said:

‘Some of the money will be put towards strengthening the team as well as being used for the business side of the club. How it will be divided up has still to be debated, but it will be a case of trying to find the right balance.’

Oldham also unveiled their new navy and gold away kit.
