Mellor Injury Not Serious

Latics have reported today that youngster David Mellor may be fit enough to take his place in the side that faces Brentford at the weekend.

At first it was feared he had a serious knee injury when he had to come off during the game at Leyton Orient last Saturday.

But after checks it turns out that the injury is not as bas as it could have been and he should be in the squad.
