Chris Taylor Set To Leave In The Summer

Chris Taylor looks like leaving Latics in the summer after contract talks broke down for a second time according to the Oldham Chronicle.

Scunthorpe United stepped in with an offer for the player last year, but the offer, believed to be six figures, was turned down.

But now it looks like the curtain will come down on his time with Latics which has spanned six years in which time he has made 283 appearances.

“We offered Chris a new contract nine months ago,” said chairman Simon Corney.

“It was made clear he wants to play in the Championship.”
