Oldham have suffered a blow with the news that goalkeeper Alex Cisak will be out of action for at least a month due to a shoulder injury.

The 22-year-old picked up the injury when he collided with the post in the defeat at home to Orient on Tuesday.

Cisak went for a scan on Wednesday where it was revealed he has fluid around the joint.

Paul Dickov told the club`s official website: ‘The specialist says the best-case scenario is three to four weeks without having seen the scan.

‘Alex received one hell of a whack. It was a horrible impact with the post and then a Leyton Orient player fell on top of him.

‘The specialist was astonished he played on for 45 minutes.’
