Best Loanee

The award goes to Scott Golbourne, who came in on loan from Reading in January. Although he was not favoured by Royle, I think he played quite well in the games he started, he put in a good work rate and made some very decent challenges when called upon.

If I’m honest though most of the players that were brought in on loan last season were pretty dreadful, so it was a difficult choice to make. Not all of them were bad though, Ian Westlake had a decent spell and if Ferriera had remained fit he could have done a decent job, as what we saw of him was very promising.

Hopefully the players we will see arriving in the next few weeks will do the business for us, I expect Penney to make some very good signings instead of the rubbish we had last season.
