It’s a break from league 1 football this weekend as the FA Cup takes centre stage again with Oldham in action at home.

Oldham clash with fellow league 1 side Doncaster Rovers, managed by Paul Dickov of course, at Boundary Park on Saturday afternoon as we look to book our place in the third round of the FA Cup.

We’ll have to do without James Wilson (suspension) after he collected his fifth yellow card of the season in last weekends win over Rochdale but after his appearance from the bench George Elokobi could feature.

Lee Johnson’s got a worry over Colchester United loanee Jabo Ibehre (thigh) with club captain Adam Lockwood (knee) and Rhys Turner (hamstring) definitely out.

Doncaster have doubts over James Coppinger, Paul Keegan and Enda Stephens as Dickov returns to Boundary Park to take on Oldham for the first time since his sacking in 2013.

Ahead of the game Johnson told BBC Radio Manchester: ‘I think they’re a very good side, I’ve seen them quite a bit and I like them.

‘It’s got a bit of a story there obviously with Paul Dickov being a former manager but the main story is a club like ours loves, and needs, a cup run.

‘Last year the Liverpool game was worth in excess of £400,000 and I’ve never felt so much pressure in my life on that day.’
