Reuben Looking Towards Play Offs

Reuben Hazell says that the target himself and his Oldham team mates should be aiming for is a place in the play offs.

Oumare Tounkara hit his fourth of the season to hand Latics all the points on Saturday which leaves them in sight of a play off place with another good result or two.

“If we don`t achieve something this season, be it automatic promotion or the play-offs, then we`re going to be a disappointed bunch,” said Hazell.

“People might say we`re putting pressure on ourselves but we know what we`ve got and it doesn`t take a performance like this one to make us think we`re good enough – we know that we are.

“The teams with the most consistency will always get promoted, at this level most teams there or thereabouts can beat anyone on their day.”
