Paul Dickov watched his side beat Huddersfield and then said that he wants his team to play like that every week.

Oldham won the game 1-0 thanks to a strike from Oumare Tounkara which proved to be decisive in the 24th minute.

Oldham were well worth their win and it could have been by an even bigger scoreline had it not been for fine saves by Ian Bennett in the Terrier`s goal.

Dickov said: ‘We had a major setback in the FA Cup at Accrington last week but (against Huddersfield) the players were fantastic.

‘When we play on the front foot like that we are a match for anyone in the division so that’s what I want every week.

‘We defended as a team and our keeper hardly made a save against a very good Huddersfield side. It was only their keeper who stopped us scoring more than one because we played with pace and purpose.’
