Oldham forward Filipe Morais is in hospital after he was involved in a car accident ahead of the game with Rochdale yesterday.
The player suffered severe concussion in the three car collision near Boundary Park, home of the Latics.
Morais was forced to miss Oldham’s derby clash at Rochdale following the crash at around ten to one.
In a statement on the official website read: ‘The forward was involved in a three-vehicle road accident this morning on Sheepfoot Lane, not far from Boundary Park, shortly before the team left for their npower League One match at Rochdale.’
