Moore Confident

Ronnie Moore has said he was optimistic despite the lack of form for his Oldham team.

‘We haven’t been as strong at the back as we would like to be, but when your side can’t finish, it will always put extra pressure on you defensively.’

Talking about pressure:

‘There is always pressure on players and managers, but at this moment in time I don’t feel pressured. I know that when I have got my first choice side out on the pitch I will be judged on that, but at the present time I don’t think Alex Ferguson could do much better.’
