Veteran winger Andy Liddell argues that Chris Taylor is the best player in League 1. The former Wigan man spoke to Latics world and had this to say:
‘I don’t think i’ve seen a better player this season, to be honest.’
‘He’s a totally different player from when I first came, even then he was good but now he’s too good for League 1.’
‘Chris can definately play at a higher level, whether he plays at the highest is up to him.’
It may be rather wishful thinking, but it’d be amazing to see Taylor one day representing Latics in the top flight.With his goals, assits and overall effort, Taylor has had a hand in all good things at Latics this season, becoming an undroppable force and silencing the critics along the way (most of whom were in our main stand!).
If Taylor can keep up this current form then it’s without doubt he’ll leave by next season. The only way I can see otherwise is, if Latics can kick on and get out of this horrendous league.
However we all know that Lee Hughes is the best player in League One, as i’m sure the lads at Milwall Vital will firmly agree.
