Latics will face Blackpool in Pre- Season

As they have been in the Championship for a few seasons, the Latics and Blackpool haven’t met for a while and these matches are usually decent, so I expect this game to be no different, especially as the clubs both have new managers and they will have a different take to the ones before them, since the 2 sides met for the second leg play off match in 2007.

We may be faced by former Latic Lee Hughes if the seaside club decide they want him, after his loan spell at Bloomfield Road and I’m not so sure he would be greeted with open arms by the Latics faithful.

This will be the Latics first home friendly of the pre season and will be played on the 1st of August, 3 o’clock kick off.
