As manager Paul Dickov prepares his side for the first game of the season against Tranmere Rovers on Saturday, his squad has been boosted by some good news on the injury front.

Warren Feeney and Reuben Hazell are expected to be fit and ready to take their place in the match day squad that travels to Prenton Park.

Feeney was suffering from an ankle ligament problem after the game with Bolton on Wednesday night, but looks to be recovered so is able to take his place up front.

And Hazell will be looking to start in the centre of defence after recovering from a troublesome Achilles problem during pre-season.
