Ex-Kidderminster Harriers, Coventry City and West Bromwich Albion striker Lee Hughes publicly apologises for causing the death of a father of four in Coventry, the day he’s released after serving a three year sentence for the offence.
Hughes, now 31, refused to discuss the actual incident, in respect to the victim’s family, but is instead looking forward to a new lease of life after signing for Oldham Athletic.

He’s served his time but for me should not be allowed to ply football again.
