Mark has been disputing his future at Boundary Park and has recently turned down a new one year deal with Oldham, so unless Penney is able to come to an agreement with the player, he will probably be one of the next players to leave.
It will be ashame because he has always been a player I have liked, but if he doesn’t want to stay then let him go, there’s no point in keeping players that aren’t happy. I’m sure the gaff will bring in some good replacements anyway, as I expect a few players to come in from his former club Darlington, which is a good prospect for us, as he managed the side well.
