Vital Oldhams’ player of the season

The award goes to Oldham born and bread Chris Taylor, who has been outstanding all season and has set the standard for next season

As he recently picked up an injury at the end of last season, he should be fine to play in the pre season games.

He scored a total of 11 goals, one of the most memorble coming against Millwall, in the game in which we came from 3-1 down and Taylor struck a beautiful effort from outside the box. Which in terms of entertainment for our fans was the best game of the season for them.

I’m hoping Chris will still be at Boundary Park next season, I expect him to be, he would be a huge loss if he goes in the summer, let’s just hope we can keep hold of him. The effort and commitment in his game is top class and I hope he stays with us for many more years.
