The latest weekend of league 1 football is here with Oldham in action at home as the ‘big boys’ take their international break.

Oldham, in a game that kick-off at 1pm of course, are at Boundary Park with struggling Crawley Town the visitors on Saturday afternoon.

Oldham could have Carl Winchester available, with it depending on his involvement with Northern Ireland after his call-up, Lee Johnson’s hopeful he will be.

Aston Villa loanee Daniel Johnson is in contention for a place in the squad, if not starting XI, having signed on Monday but Adam Lockwood (foot) is still to feature this season but was on the bench for the FA Cup win over Leyton Orient.

George Elokobi (thigh), who is back in ‘light training’, is out along with Genseric Kusunga (international duty) who is away with Angola.

Crawley have some injury and suspension problems. Izale McLeod (suspension), Matt Harrold (thigh) and Gavin Tomlin (hamstring) are all out so they have no ‘recognised striker’ to call upon. Josh Simpson (hamstring) and Marvin Elliott (groin) are out.

Lanre Oyebanjo and Ryan Dickson were forced off in a midweek defeat, so are doubtful but Dean Leacock (suspension) can return.
