Oldham manager Paul Dickov wants some of the stay away fans to show their faces on Monday night and help the side onto a Wembley appearance in the JPT final.
Fans can make a massive difference to the bigger teams and it can also make the smaller teams put in a much better performance if they have a good sized following roaring them on.
Dickov wants the extra fans who showed up to go to Liverpool in the FA Cup to show themselves on Monday.
On the Latics` official website: he said:
‘We know we will get the 3,500-4,000 hardcore who come all the time and back us all the way.
‘What I am asking is for the other 1,500-2,000 who went to Liverpool and made all that noise to come down and spur on the lads.’
