Saturday 6th March 2010, Oldham went to Exeter City. Both clubs were struggling at the bottom of league one and in the end, both clubs had to settle for a point each.
Oldham were thankful for the point in the end as the home side were awarded a last minute penalty with the score at 1-1, fortunately for the Latics, Ryan Harley fired the spot kick straight at Dean Brill and he managed to save.
The first half was a drab affair, but it came to life on the hour when Reuben Hazell fouled Marcus Haber in the penalty area.
A spot kick was awarded and Harley made no mistake.
On 81 minutes, defender Sean Gregan’s equaliser ricocheted into the net after Exeter failed to clear the ball away from a corner situation.
