Purdie was named last seasons player of the season by the vital fans of Darlington has signed a 2 year deal with the Latics, he has played in most outfield roles, but favours the full back and wing positions, playing on either side.
He is a great addition to the squad and I look forward to how he fairs in League One next season.
One to look out for in the coming weeks will be if Penney goes in for Pawell Abbott, another Darlington Player, as there’ve been rumours that he is looking to bring him to Boundary Park.
