Ryan McLaughlin has been called up by Northern Ireland manager Michael O’Neill for the coming international break.

The next international break of the year is almost with us, and Northern Ireland face San Marino away on September 1 before hosting the Czech side three days later. They are second in Group C and are on course for a play off spot as they look to qualify for the World Cup.

Whilst Watford’s Craig Cathcart returns after injury, Sunderland’s Paddy McNair and Nottingham Forest’s Jamie Ward miss out with injuries of their own – there is however a return from Jonny Evans who has missed the first two games of the campaign for West Bromwich Albion with a hamstring injury.
