Oldham Athletic have announced that defender Sean Gregan will retain the captain`s armband for the up and coming new season.
The 36-year-old came to Boundary Park at the start of 2007, last season he was made captain by ex-manager Dave Penney.
Even so, the captain won`t be wearing the armband straight away as he struggles to regain fitness from an ankle injury, stepping into his place will be Reuben Hazell who is vice-captain.
