Oldham manager Paul Dickov left Stevenage feeling pretty unhappy after his side went down 1-0.
Dickov was not pleased with the referee after he allowed play to go on late in the game after a foul, Stevenage scored from the attack, sending Oldham home pointless.
Dickov also felt that the referee ignored a claim for handball at the very end of the game which would have given Latics a late chance of rescuing a point from the game.
Speaking to the club`s official website, Dickov said: ‘For me, the referee has two big decisions at the end. First of all I think James Tarkowski’s been fouled just before the goal, and I think everybody around thought it was handball at the end.
‘I’ll have to be careful what I say and I thought for both teams there were a lot of inconsistencies and the linesmen could have got involved more.
‘The result was very hard to take.’
