Best Atmosphere

This came at the end of the season against Walsall.

This was Joe Royles’ last game in charge and before this match he hadn’t managed one win while he’d been with the club, so everyone was behind the lads and the atmosphere was electric around the Banks Stadium.

The game was very special in the end as youngster Brookes ended a run of winless games which dated back to the end of February, with a goal with his first touch on his professional debut for Oldham. Which got the Oldham faithful roaring in delight. Hopefully there will be many more games like this one next season for the Latics.
