Latics edged into the top 6 for the first time since the beginning of the season after their 1-1 draw with hartlepool. With 6 games to go here is a list of the run ins of oldham plus competitors (i have not included Southend for the reason I think we do not have a realistic chance of catching them)

SUMMARY

Huddersfield Town have three daunting trips to relegation threatened teams along with Brentford. Swansea have to travel to Boundary Park and have a tricky home game against Southend, whilst Colchester, although having a game in hand, still have to face an in form Forest team. Speaking of the chasing pack, Barnsley have very tricky away ties at relegation threatened Walsall and Blackpool and a tough home tie to champions elect Southend United as well as a visit to Boundary Park. Doncaster have some fairly tricky away games. Forest have a fairly easy run in apart from a trip to relegation threatened Hartlepool.

Although second is most definately possible for Latics I think should Brentford or Huddersfield slip up, which I think there is a good chance of, it is probable that Colchester or Swansea are in a better position to take second place than us. But with regards to the playoffs, our fate is in our own hands. We win our games (or at least match Barnsley and Forest for points) were in. Only thing that remains to be said is

COME ON YOU BLUES!!!!!!!
