The team news is coming through for Oldham’s latest league one fixture, so we at Vital take a look at this.

It’s the Coral Windows Stadium, better known as Valley Parade, when Oldham head to Bradford City on Saturday afternoon.

Genseric Kusunga is getting closer to make his Oldham return after a thigh injury but a return this weekend would come too soon it seems.

Joel Byrom (hamstring) wasn’t expected to play again this season but the Preston North End loanee is making good progress and could return soon as could Anton Rodgers (knee).

Oldham still have ‘a lot of work to do’ and Lee Johnson knows this but believes his side can go into this game with confidence gained from recent games.

Ahead of the game the Latics boss told BBC Radio Manchester: ‘The lads should have a lot of confidence [after draws with Leyton Orient and Brentford] but there’s a lot of work to do yet and we’ve got to go to Bradford and put in a similar performance.

‘I always put a lot of pressure on myself, whether we’re at the bottom of the league or the top of the league.

‘I always want to win and we’ll just continue to do the best we can.’

Oldham are inching towards league one safety, another win here would help the chances but can they do it?
