Higher league clubs have a free weekend, due to the latest international break, but it’s business as usual for Oldham.

Oldham look to further extend the unbeaten run we’re on with a game at Boundary Park against Walsall on Saturday afternoon.

Fresh from his three-month loan deal, signed on Thursday, Jabo Ibehre could make his debut after his arrival from Colchester United against a former club of his. Conor Wilkinson’s final appearance could come though as his loan deal from Bolton Wanderers will end after this game.

The knee problems that Jonathan Forte continue to be troubled with leave him ‘doubtful’ with George Elokobi (thigh) and Adam Lockwood (foot) still injured and Genseric Kusunga (international duty) still away with Angola.

Walsall are able to turn to loanee defender Andy Butler once again after he had to sit out the Johnstone’s Paint Trophy win. Sam Mantom is definitely absent due to injury again with Tom Bradshaw (hamstring) Romaine Sawyers (international) also missing.
