Another weekend of league 1 action is upon us with Oldham facing an away game.

Oldham look to further extend the unbeaten run that has propelled us into the promotion mix when we head to Chesterfield’s ProAct Stadium on Saturday afternoon.

Should we extend our 10-game unbeaten run to 11 it will set a new record for the longest spell unbeaten under Lee Johnson, who continues to show that he has something about him and could be the man to lead us out of league 1 finally?

Chesterfield don’t have any new problems to worry about ahead of the weekend game, the most problems boss Paul Cook faces is who starts! Sam Hird (knee) and Drew Talbot (groin) are still unavailable though.

Jonathan Forte (knee) continues to be troubled by a problem but is expected to be recalled as he looks to add to his seven-goals in 10-games so far.

Conor Wilkinson is now back with Bolton Wanderers after his loan spell but we have Genseric Kusunga (international duty) ready to return but George Elokobi (thigh) and Adam Lockwood (foot) continue to sit out, but should return to training next week.
