Season Over?

Words cannot describe how gutted I am as a supporter after todays defeat. If ever there was a chance to be right back up there in the running with swansea and barnsley both dropping points it was today, and we blew it!!

things were looking bright when latics took the lead at the death of the first half when Luke Beckett flashed in a header from a corner, but the second half collapse started when Guy Branston handballed and gave away a penalty. Alex Russells first effort was saved by keeper Lee Grant but the referee ordered a retake and Russell made no mistake second time round. City then went on to score the winner in the 72nd minute when Steve Brooker headed home.

Manager Rating
Again the players fail to perform on the big occasion. Something is not right and Ronnien Moore needs to address this asap.

Bristol City
One can only wonder if City would have been up there challenging for those play off places if Tinnion has gone in the summer. City upped the tempo when they went a goal down and any neutral observer would think it was them challenging for the play off spot and not Latics. I would most definately expect Gary Johnsons side to be challenging for at least the playoffs next season.

Summary
Barring a minor miracle Latics season is all but over and we are now playing for pride, which has been severely dented in the last three games. All we can do is move on and prepare for the Swansea game. Keep the faith.
