Oldham goalkeeper Alex Cisak has been linked with a move to championship outfit Peterborough.

Posh chairman Darragh MacAnthony has denied that a bid has been made as Vital Posh’s mwl1967 writes…

No Bid For Cisak?

In a cryptic message from Chairman Darragh MacAnthony, Peterborough United may not have bid for Oldham goalkeeper Alex Cisak.

MacAnthony has said: ‘Just to dispel one current myth, we have not bid for certain league 1 keeper that I keep getting asked about. Hope that clears things up.’

This suggests that Posh aren’t looking at the current Oldham number 1 as a replacement for the departed pair of Joe Lewis and Paul Jones. Unless MacAnthony is trying to get everyone off the scent!

The other goalkeeper heavily linked with a move to Posh is Gillingham’s Argentinean goalkeeper Paulo Gazzaniga.
