The poll has been up about what you expect Latics to achieve next season and the results are in:

Automatic Promotion 16%
Playoffs 57%
Mid table 14%
Relegation Battle 9%
Rebuilding Process 4%

Clearly playoffs seem the obvious target, however with abit more luck with injuries and three or four decent signings maybe an Automatic spot is on the cards.

The new poll up is for the Vital player of the season, the nominees are:

Mark Crossley – despite some poor early form, Norm has put in some solid displays and some superb ones; Yeovil(a) a particular highlight.

Reuben Hazell – signed on a free after leaving Chesterfield, not many raised an eye but once he settled in Reubes has been exceptional and was part of the defence that kept Everton at bay.

Neal Trotman – who? many Latics fans would not have heard of the ex Burnley man before this season but he came in during an injury crisis and was solid. He was sold to PNE in the January transfer window for a healthy fee plus sell on clauses but he still deserves to be up for the award.

Mark Allott – another new signing in the summer, returning for his second spell with the club and had to prove the doubters wrong. Mark has been my player of the season due to the 100% given each week.

Lee Hughes – controversy surrounded his move to Latics but Hughesy once fit looked unstoppable and no doubt if he can keep himself fit next season he will bang 20+ goals.
