Today’s game sees Northampton Town visit Boundary Park. After the late addition of Hartlepool United Danish keeper Jan Budtz who Latics have on a month loan deal, there will be more comfort for the Latics defence, also recent loan signing from Boro, Seb Hines could make his debut for Atheletic, who is another to boost the back four.

The other recent defensive loan signing 20 year old Seb Hines could make his debut for the Latics, DJ is still unable to start as he is still recovering from surgery and Wolfy is still sidelined with a thigh injury. Either Liddell or Whitaker could start, through winger Chris Taylor being banned.

The loan signing from Boro Seb Hines, should be a one to look out for, after being on the fringe the youngster is looking for glory at Boundary Park. Known for being dangerous from distance and from set-pieces he may suprise a few today by making the score sheet, and I hope he does!

Adebayo Akinfenwa is Northampton’s top scorer so far with 10 goals, 8 of which have come in the league, the other 2 being cup goals, he will be anxious to add to that tally today to boost the clubs league position as he is the most dangerous in front of goal he will be Oldham’s biggest threat today, as they are sitting in 16th with 33 points out of 28 games.
