Oldham hit back to earn a 1-1 draw at the B2net Stadium on Monday.

Things didn`t look good for Oldham when Jordan Bowery put the hosts ahead after 34 minutes, but Matt Smith struck for Latics on the stroke of half time and should have gone on to take all the points.

Latics are becoming experts at coming from behind after having to do it twice on Saturday against Notts County before eventually winning the game 3-2.

And they had to do it again after Alex Mendy sent a cross into the box that Bowery caught first time sending the ball into the top of the Oldham net from 15 yards out.

Lee in the Chesterfield goal pulled off a host of saves to keep Latics out, stops from Dean Furman and Chris Taylor come to mind.

But the visitors were level again when Smith got his head to a cross from Filipe Morais.

Tom Adeyemi should have put Latics in front on 71 minutes but his low drive was again well saved by Lee.

There were chances for both sides after the game went into stoppage time but Lee was alert again to stop a low effort from Taylor and Alex Cisak was pleased to see a Scott Boden header come straight at him.
