Manager Lee Johnson has reacted to the news of his nomination for League One Manager of the Month, having overseen us go unbeaten during the month of April.

A short statement on the Official Site from the gaffer obviously admits his delight at being recognised at this stage of the season as we went through April with three wins and two draws to secure us our league status for next campaign, but for him it was also an acknowledgement of all the hard work of the players and the staff and not just him.

‘This nomination is not only for me, but for my players and staff. I’m delighted to be nominated because it shows how much effort everyone has put in and hopefully we can keep the run going into next season.’

The first step of taking this unbeaten run of form into next season is by finishing this season in the same vain when we face Notts County this Saturday on the final day of 2013-14.
