David Noble’s non-contract affiliation with Oldham has come to an end, with him now leaving the club.

Noble arrived at Boundary Park on his non-contract terms after a trial with us over the summer as his former teammate, Lee Johnson, decided to give him a chance to earn a permanent contract.

This hasn’t happened though so after appearances from the bench in defeats to Leyton Orient and Preston North End the midfielder leaves the club with our best wishes for the future and thanks for his efforts during his spell at Boundary Park.

As the 32-year-old was with us under non-contract terms he will be able to sign for another club even though the transfer window has now closed….
