Oldham now really do have trouble in front of goal, they appear to have dried up and on yesterday`s display, it`s hard to see just where the next goal is going to come from at the moment.

Bournemouth, on the other hand, are quite capable of scoring freely while still missing host of chances as they proved on Saturday, they even have a Finnish striker who can score on his debut.

Lauri Dalla Valle hit the goal that killed Oldham off, not that they weren`t well out of it anyway after the first two had gone in, but Dalla Valle`s goal was special.

He was brought on as a substitute midway through the second half and he fired in a blistering 20-yard shot into the far corner that gave the Latic`s keeper no chance.

That was Bournemouth`s third goal and they could have won the game by a few more had it not been for Ben Amos and the chances that went begging from Marc Pugh, Liam Feeney and Warren Cummings.

The home side opened the scoring with a header in the 20th minute from Danny Hollands and soon after the half time break, Michael Symes raced on to a pass from Pugh to beat the advancing Amos.

Dickov now has problems that he needs to sort out.
