The referee for Saturday`s game against Charlton at the Valley is Mr Rob Shoebridge.

Shoebridge is an operations officer. He started refereeing when he was 13 years of age and progressed through the Central Midlands and Northern Premier Leagues to reach the National List of assistant referees in 2003.

He was an assistant referee on the 2006 FA Youth Cup Final, and refereed England v Turkey at U19 level in 2006. Since his trip to the Dallas Cup in 2007, he enjoys country music in addition to DIY, gardening and swimming.

The last time Shoebridge was in charge of an Oldham game was in February last season when Latics took on Norwich at Boundary Park. The Canaries won the game 1-0, with Grant Holt scoring the winner. The only booking of the afternoon went to Oldham`s Dale Stephens.

So far this season, Shoebridge has taken charge of three games and handed out nine yellow cards.

Carrying the flags on Saturday will be R Kendall and W Linden

Fourth Official will be J O’Brien
