Oldham suffered another blow this week when goalkeeper Ben Amos was recalled to Manchester United.

United are facing something of a keeper crisis after Anders Lindegaard was forced to undergo a knee operation that will keep him out for five weeks.

Under the circumstances, Sir Alex Ferguson felt he had little option other than to recall Amos to act as back-up to current number two Tomasz Kuszczak.

Amos arrived at Boundary Park in January and has made 16 first team appearances.
