Latics sffered a huge setback and blew a great chance to go 4th in the league after gifting MK Dons all three points in a messy affair at boundary park.

Latics opened the scoring on 28 minutes when they were awarded a dubious penalty, which Beckett calmly slotted home. However, MK were gifted two goals inside a minute just before half time which shellshocked latics. On 40 minutes Mcleod latched onto a Paul Edwards backpass to slot home to make it 1-1, then on 41 mins he latched onto a long ball to slot home and make it 2-1.

Ronnie got it wrong today, Swailes clearly wasnt fit and should not have played. I also think Ronnies subs were somewhat ineffective.
