Centre half Edijs Joksts has picked up an injury in our recent development squad outing, but Connor Brown is set for a return.

Starting with Joksts, he picked up the injury in the game against Morecambe the other day.

The player will continue to leave on international duty for Latvia’s games against Liechtenstein and Croatia, so having picked up a groin strain obviously the club will be keeping their fingers crossed that he doesn’t exacerbate the problem, if he does indeed continue to travel.

As for right back Connor Brown, he’s set for a return to action now after a lengthy spell on the sidelines. The player has been out for almost two and a half months with a knee injury he picked up in training.

Manager Lee Johnson has said that he may be in line for a run out in our Johnstone’s Paint Trophy Area Quarter Final against Notts County next Tuesday.

Striker Charlie MacDonald is back in jogging training as he continues his recovery from an ankle injury picked up two and a half weeks ago, and Matteo Lanzoni is expected to be back in training in the next fortnight following a tear to his hamstring which he picked up in the game against Leyton Orient at the start of last month.
