Manager Lee Johnson has said that he and the team are very confident ahead of our game this weekend against Chesterfield and he expects the neutral will be in for a good game.

Speaking to the Official Site ahead of our trip to the Proact Stadium, Johnson was focused on seeing us keep our now ten match unbeaten run going and hopefully coming through with another three points for our efforts on Saturday.

‘I think this will be a very good game. It will be attacking and we have moved into that phase now where we feel we are solid enough and going into attack teams. Our boys are confident, their boys are confident and they are coming back from a last minute defeat to Bristol City – I think it will be a big showstopper and one to watch.’

Johnson goes on to say that obviously we need to be aware of the threat they carry, and Eoin Doyle especially as he tops the League One scoring charts, but we’ll do our homework and he’s confident defensively we will be on the ball and be able to cope with him and the other players who are capable of changing a game.

Ultimately though he states it’s not so much about them, it’s ‘about us’ and making sure that whilst we respect them, we focus on our strengths and play to them.
