Scott Golbourne, who is on a month loan deal from Reading is looking to extend his stay with Oldham till the end of this season.

His initial month loan deal will be up after this weekends game at Yeovil, who last night were beaten by Bristol Rovers 3-0. This is a promising result for Oldham as they will be looking to strengthen their position in the top six, having the results go their way as of late, with Leeds and Tranmere both dropping points.

The left back who was looking for first team football, having not started for Reading this season, has shown a lot of promise having played in every game since his arrival at the Latics, and putting in some solid performances for the team, he should be one that the gaff will want to keep hold of and I hope that he does because he is hungry for glory and wants to help Oldham in their bid for promotion into the Championship. He has proven he can play at this level and can put in some good tackles in when called upon, so it would be a shame to see him leave.
