Oldham have confirmed that the player that ended the season on loan at Boundary Park have now returned to their parent clubs.

Gary Harkins had been borrowed from St Mirren and returns to Scotland having scored five goals in 22 outings for the club.

With Rotherham United in the play-offs, even if it is unlikely, David Worrall could feature for them having returned to the league one outfit.

John-Paul Kissock and Joel Byrom were only able to feature fleetingly during spells at Boundary Park and return to Macclesfield town and Preston North End respectively, Byrom is another that could technically feature for Preston in the play-offs is selected.

It goes without saying that the club thanked them for their efforts with an official website statement reading: ‘The club would like to thank the players for their contributions during the season and wish them luck for the future.’

Could you see any returning to Oldham next season, would you even want this?
