Fee Agreed for Spencer

Today Oldham Athletic have announced that they have agreed a transfer fee with with Everton for the sale of young star Scott Spencer.

Spencer, a product of the Latics youth, is one of the hottest talents for his age and has aroused interest from many premiership clubs including Bolton Wanderers, who had a bid turned down for the youngster and we will obviously be sorry to see him go.

The fee is thought to be around 200k up front with the fee rising depending on his progress and sell on clause.

The move is still subject to Spencer agreeing personal terms and passing a medical.
