Paul Dickov watched his side earn a creditable draw at the Galpharm Stadium against Huddersfield on Saturday and declared himself pleased.

Dickov was not only pleased with the point his side gained, but the way they battled and often bettered the home side in a game that Aidan White could easily have won it for the visitors had it not been for a brilliant save and a goal line clearance.

Dickov told the Press Association : ‘It was a tough game but we were ready for it and in the second half we were the better side. To come to a place like Huddersfield and get a point and a clean sheet is a great achievement.

‘The players have worked ever so hard for me and the whole back line was magnificent.

‘Apart from a free-kick I cannot remember them putting us under any pressure or creating any clear cut chances. The whole team was excellent.’
