Oldham boss Paul Dickov admits that his side have a difficult task in front of them when they take on Hartlepool United on Saturday.

The Latics have not seen action for five weeks because of the weather and Dickov knows that he has a big job on his hands to start again against Mick Wadsworth’s side.

Hartlepool are on form at the moment, they have six wins in their last seven competitive matches.

Dickov said: ‘I have played in a couple of cup games at Hartlepool so I know what a hard place it is to go to.

‘Mick Wadsworth has got his team playing well and they have had some fantastic results of late.

‘They are very well organised and are on a roll at the moment so it will be a tough game.’
